which is the best! as regards to battery life and camrea?

cant decide between these 2 phones. Is the weight of z1 a problem?

Out of those two.

S4 has the better camera (currently)

Z1 camera should (but may not) get better as it's a much better spec

Z1 is a lot faster.

Touchwiz on the Samsung is ugly and sluggish (still) 

Sony's custom software is fast and fluent

Z1 is very heavy in comparison to the S4.

Battery life, about the same with real world usage.

I like both Caroline.

I would suggest going to the O2 high street outlets or one if the independents to have a play with the working demo models of both models ,to get a feel for the phone ,and it's operating systems.

Xperia Z1 has had yet another firmware release by Sony ( 15/10/13 ) & its been reported camera performance has been improved yet again.

Latest Sony Xperia Z1 firmware is 14.1.G.2.257

Improvements are:

Had the chance to play with a Z1 today and I was blown away.... So much nicer, faster, better looking and way more stylish than the S4.... In my opinion, of course
