ive put my sim only contract sim card into an almost new Samsung J3, was working fine before.

all i get is emergency calls only and i cant search network providers!!

Either you have the sim in wrong or the phone appears faulty/barred.
Any chance you can try your sim in a different phone or a different sim in your phone to see where the problem is?
