Storage space running out?

Anonymous
Not applicable

So my samsung galaxy s3says the storage is running out, I'm not usuing a memory card or anything, but I've deleted folders of pictures, videos, texts, apps and it's still saying its full. It wont let anything download or update, it wont let me clear cache on any apps, and  I can't open my images folder to delete more. It wont let me reset or anything as it says theres not enough space..

I have no idea how to fix this, any suggestions? It's really annoying me.

Try clearing the cache partitition first.

Turn off the phone, press simultaneously the Volume Up, Home and Power keys.

When the device vibrates, release only the Power key and keep holding the other two.

When the Android recovery appears, let go of all other keys.

Navigate through the menu using the volume keys and use the power key to select a menu. Highlight the "Wipe Cache Partition" by using the volume key and then select it.

After the process, the "Reboot Phone Now" will become highlighted, press the power key to select it and wait till the device reboots.

Hi,

Look at deleting e mails and their attachments {if any}.

Remove games and their data.

Get a memory card and start moving all your moveable content to it.

You could look at hard resetting it but please make a back up first.

You do this of your own choice !

Hard resetting.

sgs3 hard reset  or reset Galaxy S3: PRESS AND HOLD VOLUME UP + Home Button + Power

Turn the phone off.
Press and hold VOLUME UP and Home(center) button
Press Power until the phone vibrate
Wait until you see the Android logo then release all the buttons.
Select Wipe data/Factory reset with VOLUME DOWN, press Power (right hand-side)
Select YES -- delete all user data with VOLUME DOWN and then press Power
After format, press Power again to reboot phone. (select reboot system now)
