S7 EDGE with screen Problem

Hi

I have a 13 month S7 EDGE that has develped the pink line on the right side from top to bottom. If I press grently around the front camera area, the line goes away/ becomes worse. From what research I've done, this seems to be a common problem with this model and apparently Samsung UK is aware of this.

I'm planning, next week, on my day off, to take the phone to a Samsung Service Centre near me for an inspection.

I think that the warranty is for 24 months but my main worry is that due to having moved house recently, I cannot find the purchase receipt. It was bought from Carphone Warehouse as a SIM free phone.

Can someone here shed some light on what experiences they've had with Samsung Service Centre and what they ask for as proof of purchase, if they ask for anything?

IMEI number will be registered with date of first use for warranty purposes so should be OK.
