How can I unlock my Samsung Galaxy S4?

Anonymous

I have a Samsung galaxy s4 which is locked to O2 and I need it unlocked. I have tried the free way of unlocking it by bringing up the service menu but that doesn't work. I need a code! Help!!!!

Many people have resorted to using online services when they can't get their phones unlocked by the networks. I remember a few doing this when iPhones weren't unlocked during the first 6 months. Mysteriously unlocked but obviously not by a code! Wouldn't use them myself to be honest.

I'm sure I read somewhere that if you get phones unlocked via 'unofficial' routes they would probably lock again when the phone had a software update?

That all depends on the method of the unofficial unlock process but yes, it can happen.
