Guy keeps leaving messages with an unknown number

Anonymous

Hey, not sure if this is the right place to be posting this but a guy has left three unintelligble messages in the past couple of hours and I'm getting really suspicious because it's an unknown number and I'm wondering if it's a scam. Any advice on how to deal with this?

You can ask customer services if they can trace the call but as it's a withheld number, it may not be possible.

Most likely just someone with a wrong number. Ignore it unless it persists when you might have to take further action.

Bit late with the reply but I can confirm that it can happen, innocently. About 2 years ago a Scottish bloke was convinced I was his daughter. It took about three days of calls at various times of the day and night to get him to stop calling me because I'd never heard of him or his daughter.

If I'd have had Nougat at the time, I could have blocked his number, as it wasn't witheld. I did save it though, so I knew when it was him calling. I saved his name as a highly offensive word.
