Galaxy S II CPW Jelly Bean Update HELP!!

Hi,

I have a Galaxy S2 on an O2 contract which I got from Tesco.

It has the CPW firmware on it, and I can't get it to find the jelly bean upgrade when using Kies.

Any help gratefully accepted

Hi MI5 thanks for your reply.

I've downloaded and flashed the latest O2 update from Sammobile.

It works great but still has the O2 bloatware on it.

I wondered about the German rom you mentioned in an earlier thread, could I flash that to my phone or do I have to have it rooted?

You can flash any of the ROMs off Sammobile in the same way by using Odin. No root required.

Was wondering if I changed csc to o2u, could I then update?

In theory, yes, but I'm not sure you can change CSC - Only if CPW is a multi ROM. Be aware changing the CSC will wipe your phone so back up first.

just letting you know I flashed the German rom that you suggested. Then did a factory reset and everything works great...thanks again

Ah well, I guess it's not a multi rom after all. I suppose I either wait for the cpw update, or get naughty with odin.
