Android 4.4 KIT KAT

Hi All,

new version of Android Kitkat should roll out and will be available for couple new phones.

HTC One, S Galaxy S4, Nexus 4, 7 . and couple other. There wont be big changes, but should be faster and main thing save the battery. Does any one know more when we will get it?

I have finally got this on my nexus 4 but still nothing on my nexus 7 2013 edition yet, put GEL launcher on it now it feels just like my nexus 5 with a few bugs here an there but that is too be expected as it's not optimized for the n4. I don't know why my nexus 7 has not got this yet I assume it is because they are working on another build for it?

Got it two days ago on my Nexus 7 2013 so it should be imminent. I am however overseas at the moment.

Patience My N4 got it last week but my 2012 N7 only got it last night. Only main bug bear is Setting Profiles Full now won't change based on time 😞

Pity that either KitKat or my Nexus 5 means that O2 wifi is now dysfunctional. Just means Starbucks gets my money rather than Costa!

Yep finally have the update on my nexus 7 now as well my brother has his on his nexus 4. However he is facing all sorts of issues, sent him a link to check out a possible fix (factory reset or use adb).

Anyone else having issues with the nexi KitKat update. With the Nexus 5 I have an annoying issue where all the apps and widgets will disappear and have to restart device to get them back.

It's not often this happens but still annoying and should be fixed in the next update hopefully! Have has no issues on the n4 or n7 2013 so far!

The only issue I've seen on the Nexus 4 is the option to select 2G only is gone.

I think that is an issue with the branded models as my nexus 4 unlocked from the play store shows 2g and 3g bands!

Mine is not branded and came from the Play Store.
