Hi
During recent power outages with storm Ciera we lost power for about 10 hours
The mobile signal dies as soon as there is a power cut and stays down.
The problem is that the village has recently had virgin Fibre to the house installed so we all lose our landlines as well. (we are also asking Virgin about any options they may have)
If we had an emergency we have no voice coverage. We have to get in the car and drive about 15 minutes away to find a signal.
So my question is do some/all/none of the masts have any form of power backup.

BTW: You do know that Virgin Media use your electricity to power the transmitter from your box back to their main connection-point...? The cheek! 🤣
