I've hadmy phone contract with O2 since 2017....
I've not changed it - I've been happy with it & actually there has been no better deals which is why I have kept it. On Monday I changed the deal from a monthly contract (woth phone that was out of contract) to a sim only contract.
Yesterday, the sim card has been cut off....
I had ensureed when the sales lady asked me if I needed anything else that the phone would not stop working.... She reasured me that now no new Sim's get sent out that your phone will just update....
LIES....
As of yesterday my phone has stopped working.... I have Wifi but I don't have network.
This means all modes of comunidation with O2 can't take place. There is no ability to use the App, I can't use Wifi calling on my phone. The phone numbers will not ring even if I am on Wifi....
What to do now?? Pay the money to O2 without anyone actually doing their job. There is a reson why I have not updated my phone...
Best part, I'm a freelancer I need my phone to make money... Thanks O2, A pandemic on our hands and now I have no ability to make money on the run up to Xmas...
Anyone have any ideas of how I can get this sorted out today?!

Hi @No-Network
Check this guide Guide: How can I sort out my network issues?
Looks like you should contact the sales team as they can help with that – message them on Social Media if that works best for you -on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter ( https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG)
Or you can call them on 0800 081 0255

The fastest way to get this sorted would be to go to your local O2 store.
Take some ID with you and they can check and replace your sim if necessary.
