Can anyone help I'm on o2 which my volt is activated on so I'm getting my double data allowance, I am also with virgin media broadband and my speed boost hasn't been updated and for some reason its stating that sorry virgin media is not at this address yet so I can't get it what I've been a vrirgin media customer for years so confused please help

Make a complaint on the Virgin online support
I did and the boost happened within 3 days

Agree with OP. CS staff at both Virgin and O2 are utterly clueless on how to implement this Volt thing.
Virgin completely screwed my bill up. I was on £52/mth (broadband 500+landline), got them to add Volt speed double to 1Gig (which took them 40mins on hold to do!), then next day received email with updated contract document showing £69/mth!
Another call to VM, told "they'll get mgr to add a manual £17/mth credit on the account as 'workaround' method" as they cannot work-out how to do the Volt thing properly, and then issue and updated contract document.
Two days later... the online contract still shows £69 amount... Why even bother. Pfft!
