Ive jjsr paid my 6th month bill was told can upgrade after 6 months but online says inhave to wait until the 19 amyone know why?

Provided that you have met the criteria of paying all bills in full and on time, you need to contact O2 to override the system.
All numbers are in this guide Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support 
When you call, you will be asked for the reason you are calling.
Stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
You can also try saying "Upgrade" or "Fraud" to be connected to an advisor.
8.00am is the best time to call if you can.

I rang 02 the first person I spoke to said I have paid all 6 bills on time however in May the direct debit tried taking the bill at 4am however I got paid at 9am (the bill was paid at 9.05am) I have to wait until the 19th she said the upgrade team can bypass this as I am eligible for an upgrade as im on sim only when I was put through he straight away said no they cant because of the fault of the direct debit

You could try again and see if get a more sympathetic adviser?
