Moving from Huawei to iPhone

I have recently bought the new iPhone SE 2020. I installed move to iOS but when doing the set up, they weren't connecting. I have had an iPhone previously so I have iCloud but it has all my old photos on it that I have deleted on my old device. I really need help with moving my stuff over as I don't want to loose pictures of my daughter. Any help would be appreciated, thank you!

Save all your photos to your pc then upload them all to iCloud.

Does the Google Photos app work on iPhones @MI5?
Guessing that if it were used on the Huawei and the SE then it would show them?

Google photos does work on an iphone i have it on mine as a back up.

There's your answer then @LisaA27 - install google photos (if not already there) on your Huawei.
Let it back up overnight.
Install on new iPhone, and away you go!
