Hi ive just started having problems with my phone which i got in july last yr. It is doing actions on it own!
Its fine one minute then i can type a text and it starts putting c and v's in the text and it types a few on its own. I then go to open an app either facebook or whatsapp and it starts to open conversations on its own. Its like theres a ghost pressing the keys! I opened a video the othet day and it fast forwarded on its own.
If i power off and power back on most of the time it recyifys itself for a few hrs then does it again.
Any help please?
Thanks

Is there an option for a software upgrade for the handset? You can do this over wifi to speed things up.

@NH i would suggest factory resetting the device, as it looks as though the update has become corrupted.

Make sure to back up any data to Google.
- Xperia 1V - o2 and Spusu
- Pixel 8 Pro - o2 and Vodafone UK

I have tried to manage with this phone for 2 wks now and getting nowhere fast. I have done a software update, taken the protective cover off and cleaned the phone and no luck. This morning i did a factory reset and as soon as it loaded up it srarted ghost texting again. It took nearly an hr to put passwords in because it wouldnt type a g in! It kept joining 4 letters together and typing c's in. Even if i switch off sometimes it keeps flashing, locks and wont even let me switch the phone off. Its so frustrating. This phone is still under warranty ive not even wn had it 12mths!

@NH

You have a 2 year warranty so contact Huawei direct https://consumer.huawei.com/uk/contact-us/
