Fraud call or O2 Retention

Hi

 

I keep getting calls that claim to be from the O2 Retentions department (020 8077 6892). They are offering 40% of my bill, and I naturally assume calls like this are fraud. However they were able to send text messages with a code from the O2 number.

 

Have your systems been hacked by any chance?

It's a well known scam and they have access to your MyO2, so you need to change your password and check your details haven't been altered.
