Fraud call or O2 Retention

Hi

I keep getting calls that claim to be from the O2 Retentions department (020 8077 6892). They are offering 40% of my bill, and I naturally assume calls like this are fraud. However they were able to send text messages with a code from the O2 number.

Have your systems been hacked by any chance?

It's a well known scam and they have access to your MyO2, so you need to change your password and check your details haven't been altered.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
