Hey I have a contract for two years. My phone was only just gone a year old and it’s stop working.
Called up to claim on insurance where I pay the highest amount.
was told pay £70 next day delivery for a BRAND NEW phone just may be a different colour.
I am a big worrier so I made the bloke on the phone say it a few times £70 next day for a BRAND NEW PHONE.
next day dpd collected and a refurbished phone was delivered.
so called insurance explain what was said but they replied due to no stock you get refurbished and nothing else can be done. made a complaint as was falsely told one thing a received another .
was told I would received a phone call about my complaint still no phone call
now the refurbished phone has gave up after two weeks!
now where do I stand?
can I get another phone?
I don’t think I should have to pay any more due to it’s there fault with giving me a faulty replacement!
The fact it’s no fault of my own that it really is just faults with the iPhone on both occasions I feel really let down by the insurance.
I pay the highest amount just to receive faulty second hand refurbished phone that doesn’t even have a genuine apple back anymore so it’s even priceless if wanted to sell !
What can is do please help?

You need to get back onto insurance first thing tomorrow morning. You certainly WONT have to pay for a new phone as they have let you down sending a phone not fit for purpose. You must refuse to pay anything else as well!
