Do i have to have air time to get the apple watch even tho i have a phone contract

If you buy through o2, yes @M8dave 

Apple also offer the watch on a monthly payment plan, and you can use the watch as a bluetooth only device.

If you want the watch to work fully, ie without the phone being near or on, then you need the airtime from o2 as well.

You have to have the watch data plan which is £5 per month.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
