Has anyone claimed their Samsung ear buds for £1 and when they go through checkout it's asking for £40 upfront then direct debit for the rest?

@Scottysuvahalf

It's because the price has changed since the codes were generated.

This is a customer to customer community, not O2.
You need to contact O2.
Message them on Social Media. Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) or give them a call on 202 or 0344 809 0202.

But you will need to emphasise that you are eligible to claim them for £1, and that the price rise is the problem of O2 and not you !

It might be obvious to you @MI5, but I suspect that at least a proportion of customers will either decide not to bother when asked for the additional £40 or will shrug their shoulders, pay up and feel that they have been the victim of sharp-practice.

Clearly @Scottysuvahalf is bothered or wouldn't have posted here in the first place.

I just phoned o2, they told me they're aware of the problem and are working on it, it should be fixed in 4 weeks and they will notify everyone then!
