Cannot set up direct debit!

O2 cancelled my direct debit and will now not provide me with anyway of setting up a new one. I am registered deaf and after making this point many times I'm still told I must ring 202 to set it up.

You could try live chat http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus
or fill in the O2 DD mandate http://static.o2.co.uk/assets2/pdf/O2_DirectDebitMandate.pdf

Live chat won't take any bank details but I'll try the mandate.

Thanks.

Why would O2 cancel the direct debit?

Seems very peculiar though that O2 cancelled direct debit? It is their payment method of choice for ALL contracts

But they do continue to astound us with their ineptitude.

I agree. However I question it because it's usually the customer who cancels direct debits. (Unless a contract is finished then it auto cancels) All in my experience obviousy

I have no idea why. The direct debit wasn't even attempted. I only found out they hadn't taken it when my account was restricted and I had to make payment and try to set it back up.
