Tile mate instead of a bottle of Moët?

Today I learned that I had apparently selected the non-alcoholic version of then o2 Priority gift. I had wondered where my bottle of Moët was and so chased it up.

Apparently the Tile Mate was the replacement 👎🏼 Had no idea and thought this was pretty random when I received it but actually didn’t connect the two.

Categorically I didn’t chose the non-alcoholic version and even double checked this!

A little interested to read there’s been a few more cases of this happening.

Pretty poor show o2, after being with o2 for a good 15 years if not more in the last month your poor communication has really let you down for me personally!

It's as if O2 think these Tile Mates make a good substitute for a bottle of champagne.

Either that or they have run out completely.

Well, the way I see it is...
A free anything to 5% of customers...
Is still a better deal than the nothing the other 95% of us got.
I mean a freebie is a freebie right?

Not quite.... a link to take up the ‘freebie’ but it isn’t what was actually what was promised. Probably not a freebie really given the length of time I’ve had my o2 contract for..... those 5% are obviously those who have been with o2 the longest and 95% maybe not quite as long. #sorrynotsorry!!

I GUARANTEE that's not the case.
Unless of course going from cellnet-bt cellnet-o2 doesn't count.
But yeah, many of us here didn't join O2, O2 joined us.

Mind you, the O2 Community Hoodie I won early in the year, which arrived in August, has been most useful the last 3 or 4 weeks!

Rest assured, it doesn’t keep me awake at night. The point seems to be missing with those who appear not to have had this available to them on o2 Priority.

It does seem a little one-sided... Now perhaps if I had a tariff with 50GB data and the latest and greatest handset, then my name would be on the list. But I don't - I have a contract that gives me what I need at a price that I can afford.

And O2 Priority never seemes to yield results for me either.

Here's a bit of mobile phone history in the meantime!

Think yourself lucky you got anything or maybe they had no Moet left. I applied for mine on 3rd Oct and was told my request for a free bottle of Moët had been accepted and I would receive it in 28 days. Here I am on the 17 Nov and still waiting. Where is it o2? This is the first time Iv entered for a freebie in the 23yr Iv been with you and you can’t even send it. Not happy at all and my contracts due for renewal but your offer of a free upgrade won’t be accepted if you don’t get my bubbly posted
