topic Ticketmaster in O2 Priority

Why does O2 use Ticketmaster as its agent for the sale of O2 Priority Tickets? Ticketmaster does not exist to offer a high level of customer care, merely as a mean of getting as much money out of you as possible.

I have no idea. I do know that places such as 'Get me in' has folded, so O2 probably go with the largest ticket seller?

Ticketmaster's level of customer care is on a par with O2's, so it's a perfect match.

Yes, they also owned Seatwave and got rid of them both, in an effort to combat touts.

The whole ticketing industry is a big scam.

You have LiveNation who tie all the venues and artists into contracts. LiveNation owns Ticketmaster, so they also control the sale of tickets. GetMeIn is owned by Ticketmaster, and ALL tickets that go on sale on Ticketmaster on the day of release are immediately available to buy at AT LEAST TWICE the face value on GetMeIn. The whole thing is a scam. There have been many discussions on many forum boards I've used, and there have been some very good suggestions on how to combat this monopoly. But it'll never change. GetMeIn is closing down now, but there's no way that LiveNation/Ticketmaster won't want a piece of the secondary ticketing market.
