My Xperia L4 is overheating and battery running low very fast. Only started this morning. Side sensor so hot can't touch it. Help!!

Close all running apps.

Check for anything that is stuck syncing.

Shutdown phone and let it cool before trying again.

Occasionally somethings can get stuck causing the processor to run constantly.

If it continues like this, contact Sony for help in diagnosing the issue.

@FJACK98 might be worth clearing cache for Play Store as this usually hangs to unfinished downloads and keeps retrying to download stuff . Also i would go to recovery and try clearing cache from there aswell.
PS . Only clear cache partition as anything else will delete all data from the phone !
