Red button over phone icon in iphine

A couple of days ago I change my tariff contract with o2 and since then I’m getting a red circle over the phone icon in my iPhone. The is like if I have a recording message however when I listen to the recording the automated message says that I don’t have any messages. Can someone tell me how to get rid of the red circle? Since I try to get to o2 and their cs is non existent. Many thanks.

You can try leaving yourself a voicemail, then listen to it and delete it, which usually clears stuck notifications, but also, see this thread https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Other-Products-and-Services/Network-Provider-Voicemail-Notification-Stuck-on-iPhone/m-p/1779331
