Phone number linked to an old 02 account

Hi,

I had an old account which was cancelled in May this year, but I am unable to link my current number because its still linked to that previous account. How can I go about getting it linked to my current account.

You can't.

Due to reasons only known to O2 you need to use a different email to create a new MyO2 account.
