3 part answer @TobyToo12

1. Existing plastic SIM from current phone should fit into a recent model non-smartphone handset no issue.

2. Advertising prefs can be set under My Account, View All, Contact Preferences to reduce much of the advertising spam from O2:

3. Tablet needs a DATA SIM, such as those advertised here:

https://www.o2.co.uk/unlimited-data-sim

Good luck!

I have a smartphone on o2 but do not use most of facilities, looking to get an elderly type phone. Can I transfer my sim card to it. Also have a tablet that at present does not have a sim card, question what card would I get to fit it ?. Returning to the elderly type phone, if I do transfer the sim card would that stop all the advertising I presently get. Thank you for any help.
