my phone has been stolen which obviously contained my SIM card. I have contacted o2 and explained what happened. I was told my eSIM would be sent to my email in a matter of minutes yet I have received nothing after almost 2 hours. I can’t access my o2 app as it sends a code to my number which I do not have access to at this time

Unless they send a QR code via email you have a problem. They insisted on snail mail with me.

In the end I called into an O2 store with photo ID and got a plastic SIM as O2 and eSIMs don't get along

We have no way of helping here as we are customers with no access to O2 systems
