any ideas, i have been using iphone xr for over 3 years and no real issues getting a signal, recently started using a iphone 15, with same sim card, when im at work, i get no signal and cant do nothing on my 15, but if i swop sim card into my xr i get a signal, i was thinking that mayb there is an issue with the settings on my 15, but the strange thing is when im not at work and anywhere else i have been, i have no issues so far getting a signal in my 15, it is just when im at work(even though xr works fine in the same locations)

Could the older phone be set to use 3G instead of 4G in its settings, @kev49?

The new phone, depending on your SIM and signal where you are, may not be able to be set to 3G, preferring instead 5G or 4G.

In a busy area, 3G is adequate for browsing and e-mail, if the local mast carries a lot of subscribers (ie is oversubscribed for 4G/5G Data).

Take a look at options in your Phone's SIM settings for something like

and compare the older to the newer phone side by side. Good luck!
