Whatsapp issues

Whatsapp failing to pick up my home Wifi (Virgin Media) and therefore won’t send/receive messages or download photos. All other apps and browsers on my iPhone are using internet ok. I have tried all the delete/install app, reboot wifi, toggle airplaine mode off/on, switch phone off on……,and any other advice I could find online and Whatsapp help say it’s not their issue. Absolutely no joy and it’s been like this for about a week now.
Can anyone save my sanity please?

Check you haven't inadvertently removed WhatsApp app's access to network, @Jacey1
