If your phone was PAYG, a good chance it has been inactivated through lack of use (one chargeable call every 6 months is required to prevent this). Also if a big bundle, lack of top-up may mean it was deactivated sooner.

If contract, the SIM may just be locked and in need of a PUK, available in your MyO2 or at https://www.o2.co.uk/help/device-and-sim-support/unblock-your-phone

All ways to contact O2 are in here: <LI-PRODUCT title="Guide: How to find help & contact O2" id="Guide058"></LI-PRODUCT>

Good luck, @Smiths_Beach.

6 months ago, my mobile fell down the toilet 🫣. It didn’t get fully immersed, and so I was hopeful I’d be able to get it working again. It did work initially but when I came to charge it, it just wouldn’t charge. I’ve tried charging it every so often and when I tried it again yesterday, the phone charged to 100% 😊. I was so happy thinking I’d be able to use my phone again and whilst the phone turns on ok, I can’t remember my PIN!! Either that, or it’s been locked by O2 due to a lack of activity over these past 6 months. I was going to try contact them direct but couldn’t find an obvious number to call. I therefore thought I’d ask here ☺️. Any advice gratefully received! Thankyou.
