voicemail saying full when empty

My Voicemail is saying full when it's empty. I've changed phones and I've still got the same issue. My phone is iphone 15. I've been onto 02 numerous times over past four months but nothing gets done to fix the issue. Help appreciated.

Have you tried switching it off and leaving it for a day before restarting?

Yes tried that another reactivating voicemail. It's not the phone as same thing happening on the new one.

Can you possibly help me please as im having a very similar issue and I posted about it months ago. It's still not been fixed since I upgraded last year in September/October. I rely heavily on voicemail as I am in and out of hospital. I get constantly fobbed off with tech support is looking into it. And everyone gets told my mailbox is full but when I call it there is no new messages and no saved messages. I go into hospital to have my colon removed in two weeks so I desperately need this fixed. I even went into store a few times and spent several hours while they attempted to get tech support to sort it. I just need the mailbox at the server to be emptied and reset for me to be able to use my mailbox again.

Persist with O2, @snukems - you can get them via Social Media as in the link just below. Nudge them occasionally until they come back to you.

Do ask them to reset your mailbox as mentioned further up this thread, @snukems. Good luck!

OR @pgn we might be able to ask @Dave-O2 to help @snukems. Going into hospital for major surgery is not good if you don't have a fully functioning phone/voicemail.

I must admit that I have never found O2 voicemail satisfactory in recent years. I do not use it but I still get "phantom" messages saying that I have got voicemails. When I check, I find that there aren't any.

I am well aware of the workaround to clear this ; but the problem inevitably recurs within two or three weeks. I have no option but to simply ignore the message as an irritant. 👍

If your Voicemail needs to be reset by O2, only they can do that - search for voicemail in the search bar above will get you some answers... @Dave-O2 is the community manager, but won't be back in until Monday.

We understand @snukems that is currently taking O2 up to eight weeks to investigate and respond to complaints. Furthermore, if you resubmit your complaint before O2 have responded, you run the risk of the "new" complaint having been considered to supersede the "older" complaint and that resets the clock to zero.
