I have been contacted by O2 stating that i am entitled to a refund but they want my bank details, can i sort this out here as it is quite impossible to contact them by phone (i have tried 3 times)

You need to speak to o2 on 0800 902 0217 and they can sort out the refund, no one on this customer to customer community can do anything...

Be careful that it was actually O2 that phoned you.

Normally refunds are paid into your bank accout if you set up a direct debit.

Also check MyO2 to see if it states there is a refund owing

@ronwembley56 If you were cold called by someone saying they're from O2 it's very likely to be a scam. Do not give any personal information or bank details to anyone on a cold call no matter who they say they are. If you're having difficulty getting through by phone you can reach O2 via social media:
