I have just changed contracts and have chosen Amazon prime as my extra.

I have received the email to activate my extra but when I click on it to activate it I am taken to the Amazon website with the message "This account isn't eligible for this offer. You already have an existing membership for this service. You can redeem this offer after your current membership has expired" "

I usually pay monthly for prime, is this why it wont activate my extra? Previously when I had Disney plus as an extra when I activated my O2 extra it automatically put a halt on my previous subscription and used the extra add on for 6 months. Does it not do the same with Amazon prime?
