      <title>Number porting failed</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi, I'm resorting to coming on the forum as I'm having a lot of bother porting my number from my previous network. Over a week ago I signed up to an O2 sim only deal and at the time of ordering I provided my PAC code to transfer my number from Smarty&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My initial date the number to port was 07/12/23, however the port did not happen, I spent quite sometime speaking to webchat but all they could say was to do the normal steps of turning phone off, removing sim etc. I then phoned O2 and explained my situation, the person at the other end of the phoned said the port had failed and resubmitted the request to port for me, I received a notification confirm this and was told it would happen by the end of 11/12/23 but it hasn't happened.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My O2 account still shows my temporary number and after the initial attempt to port my account with Smarty was closed and that SIM card now says emergency calls only.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'd appreciate any help with this issue, thanks.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
