Can you swap SIM cards with your wife. If you still have problems could be the phone or setting

If the problem moves to your wife's phone then as a first step I would suggest a SIM replacement

If you can, call into an O2 Shop with photo ID

Since upgrading to a Samsung A53 5g my signal is terrible.

My wife has the A54 5g, both on 02. She gets good signal and 4 or 5 g in places I get nothing.

I've tried everything with the phone ( factory reset, setting changes, turn this on , turn that off ) its very frustrating .

I had no issues with my old Huawei, except the battery.
