If you are not quite as tech savvy as others, this may help. On a Google Pixel 6, tap the icon to make a phone call. Select the 3 dots at the top right hand side of the screen and select settings. Scroll down and select Voicemail. Then turn off Visual Voicemail.

Keep getting texts saying I've set up visual voicemail when I don't want it. Tried turning off the normal voicemail multiple times but that didn't work. Seems like a system glitch. I'm on a Google Pixel 6 Pro. Any help would be appreciated.
