Thanks. I already have a spare identical phone with 1p mobile SIM (on EE) in it and reception is fine in the areas where O2 now struggles. I can't speak for all of the places where I haven't taken the EE phone!

Hello, I was speaking to a gentleman from O2 this afternoon about deals I can have but after the conversation I complained about signal issues we have been having in our local area. I have trouble getting signal in certain places and my partner hardly gets any when he’s in work. I would like to see if I am eligible for discount on my bills as it’s been occurring for a few months. Thanks.

I doubt you will get any special deals or discount because of the network issues

However, things are unlikely to improve when you have had problems for months

Why not change to a network that gives you a good connection?

Anyway, some help guides here

<LI-PRODUCT title="Guide: How can I sort out my network issues?" id="Guide018"></LI-PRODUCT>

<LI-PRODUCT title="Guide: Is the network down for me or everyone?" id="Guide016"></LI-PRODUCT>

This is now a bugbear of mine now. Never any trouble in the past but the network status checker for part of my area where I live i.e Bromley Borough, South London, show mast troubles all around which never seem to be rectified. I'm on PAYG with a fair amount of money as balance still left and when that runs down as considering changing to EE . I can make phone calls but 4G reception indoors is now poor.

I'm peed off with O2 at the moment.

@HHGTTG Put a minimum amount on an EE PAYG sim to see what kind of coverage you get. If it's better than what you have now, run down your O2 balance and switch providers. You can't take the balance with you. If you want to keep your number you will need a PAC from O2: PAC code (o2.co.uk)
