      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Have bought a new phone form mobilephonesdirect.co.uk on an o2 contract.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Called o2 to migrate my current number from my 12 month sim only o2 contract to the new o2 contract.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;They have refused.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I can't see why they wold not allow this, as I am prepared to pay out the final 3 months of my current contract.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Can someone please advise?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thank you&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Thanks MI5, that's what I thought, but they are telling me the new number is from their 'old system' and they won't change the number unless I cancel the new contact and take one up with them instead.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Or... I could pac code switch my number to another carrier, wait a month and then pac code it to o2.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Neither solution is right, and it's so frustrating.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Have tweeted them, will feedback when I can, and if anyone has the ofcom details for why they can't do this it would be much appreciated.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thank you&lt;/P&gt;</description>
