    <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/5017974"&gt;@RM2000&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;just a heads up that it seems like O2 are having issues with porting numbers across recently - you can search this forum and see for yourself the number of issues customers have been having with this within the last month or so.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Not sure what the issue is or if theres a huge backlog but just be warned you may lose service on your old number for several days/week+ despite the timelines given to you of 1-2 business days.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I am NOT affiliated with O2 - just a customer. My advice would be to hold of porting your old number unless you are prepared to go without service for a while...&lt;/P&gt;</description>
