iphone App help please

The dim one again....I am trying to get Apps that i had on my android on my new iphone (virgin money etc) and they dont seem to be happening - just getting the circle of doom! Any help appreciated please?

I would check if you have a payment method setup in the App Store, and also that you are connected to WiFi as some apps wont download over mobile data..

thank you - I thought i had set up my bank details with it but maybe i havent - can you remind me how i do this please as i have just looked in App store and in settings and cant see anything obvious? thank you

You set a payment method under your Apple ID in Payment and Shipping.
