I am not receiving sms OTP from amazon.

I am trying to verify my phone number on my amazon account. I don’t receive the text that is sent with the one time passcode. I have contacted amazon but they were unable to help. I need this to open up Alexa video calls. Thanks

Have you checked the number on your Amazon account is correct?
Have you got mobile signal?
Have you blocked short code numbers?

Amazon number matches. Signal good and received OTP from o2 earlier I have Some short codes blocked but they are probably from ppi or accident scams.

I think you were correct about the blocked short numbers. I went through them one by one ( there were only three). Asking for the OTP to be sent each time and one must have been amazon! Thanks for the suggestion and help.
