New phone now using different number

Hi, I recently bought a new iPhone 12 with a new sim and contract last month. I moved my old number over to my new phone with seemingly no problem. However, when I have texted/iMesseged friends or family, it is showing my new number. It worked fine for a few weeks and I still recieve texts from companies on my old number (the number I want to use) but when I text friends, it shows the number that came with the new sim (the number I do not want to use)

In my settings on my phone, it used to show both numbers connected to my phone but now only shows the new number. How do I fix this?

Settings >Phone >My Number.

Edit, save and reboot.
