Might sound stupid but I have just put a SIM card in a new iPhone I got for my wife but we have no wifi yet in the house. Is this why I am getting no service on the phone as thought 3G would take over like my phone ?

You may need to call customer service to have the sim activated. Try 0800 587 4005 first.

<LI-PRODUCT title="Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support" id="Guide069"></LI-PRODUCT>

As far as your WiFi is concerned, check your phone's settings, and take a look here:

https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202639

I have not fully paid my bill because I need to add a spending cap on my child's account. Why can this not be done online baring in mind 02 are only taking emergency calls. My child was able to rack up a £65 phone bill on games. Very frustrating 02!
