I recieved a text message on 29th August from 02 to upgrade all my security details on my 02 account due to an upgrade is this a scam as when I went into the account all my details were required to re entered.

Always login from this link http://www.o2.co.uk/myo2 and not any links in emails or texts.

If you entered your details from a text linkk you need to login from above link and change your pssword immediately.

There's no reason for O2 to ask you to change your details so always be suspicious of these type of requests.

Please be aware there are suspicious, if not fraudulent or scam, websites with urls similar to O2.

Quite a few scams doing the rounds at the moment as you would expect.

I received this text yesterday:

Look at the text header : P ayPal.

Same advice, never ever click on a link in a text message.
