      <title>Phone number lost</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hey, was wondering if anyone could help with this issue:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;• I recently switched to Vodafone using my PAC code&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;• I then cancelled the new Vodafone contract while the switch was still taking place - Vodafone assured me the number port would not take place&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;• It appears Vodafone incorrectly cancelled it as the number still ported out, but Vodafone claimed they could not access the number or PAC code and that I need to contact O2&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;• My O2 service was automatically cancelled&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;• Contacted O2 who told me Vodafone have the number&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;• Vodafone confirmed this and said they have now released the number so that O2 can reconnect it&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;• Contacted O2 again who said they can reconnect the number onto a new contract - but the credit check kept failing for some reason so was unable to do it&lt;BR /&gt;• O2 advised me to buy a rolling plan SIM and contact them again to reconnect the number&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;• I did this and called O2 again - I was passed between the Pay as you go and Pay monthly team 4 times and then it became clear that they had no idea what I was talking about&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;• Called Vodafone again who said they cannot access the number or provide a PAC code&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;• Still cannot access my old number and don’t know what to do or who to contact&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any advice? Thank you&lt;/P&gt;</description>
