Confused over 'Plus Plan' and what it means

Hi all,

I changed to O2 as I am going travelling in the USA next week.

I am on the 'O2 Sim Only Plus Plan 30GB', as my understanding was I will be able to use my iPhone as normal in the USA, due to the Plus Plan. It says that I have a bolt on for O2 Travel Inclusive Zone. Despite googling, I am confused/worried about the following things:

1. Will my phone be normal as it is in the UK when I am in the USA or do I need to change any settings/buy a bolt on, etc?

2. Are there any hidden costs i should be wary of? I will only really be using Whatsapp/5G
