Leaving O2 - Refresh - All Kit Paid Off

I have a phone and a watch - I have paid them both off, so no debt/loan on either of them. Can I now leave without 30 days notice, or do I have to give 30 days? The chat operator said I could leave now - no notice, but that seems a little odd as all the information seems to say 30 days. If I PAC to another provider, then I believe it ends on the day of transfer?

Make sure your final bill is zero before you cancel your Direct Debit. Many people have been caught out over the years and had their credit score messed up because of a paltry amount that remained unpaid. Keep the DD open. If there's nothing to pay it doesn't cost you anything to do that.
