I just found one today called Summly. It is a news app that is great for all kinds of news. Think it is just available for iOS users at the moment though 😞

With the amount of time people use Facebook I think this could be useful. It matches everyone from your address book to Facebook accounts downloads their profile pics for dp when they phone you. Also keeps track of birthdays(if your like me useful) you can set up notifications for when specific people post new statuses or when someone's birth is tomorrow(or any notice you set)

Thanks Liquid as I'm not a big Facebook user and so will not know apps like the sync me for FB.

Pickles, this is exactly what I was hoping for as well for seasoned app users. I'm into my apps and there are apps out there I would like to find out abut as well.

I hate Facebook(not on it) if I'm honest just read about it a long time ago and the name stuck haha.

I'll add them as well as Parcel which I used to track my iPhone 5 delivery back in Sept.

I also forgot about apps like Dropbox and SkyDrive but what about Google Search, handy for pre iPhone 4S users as it gives them siri like functionality (within Safari at least).

If your into fitness, eg walking, running, cycling etc. Then I can highly recommend Endomondo. There is a free version and there is also a paid for Pro version (I think it costs £2 or £3).

I do a lot of walking and I can see how far I've walked, my current walking speed in mph, how long I've walked for and calories burned and theres loads of other options as well. After you have finished your walk, cycling, running etc, the results get transferred from the app and onto the Endomondo site (you create an account first) and from there you can browse your results at your pleasure.

I've just looked at my total distance and total time walked on the Endomondo site since I started using the app in June 2012, and I've walked in total for 7 days and 15 hours and have walked a total distance of 582 miles

I use one called Pockets.

You find a cool webpage while on the move and this app bookmarks it so you can open it up on your PC back home
