Missing Apps

I lost my iphone😪

I got a simswop to enable me to use an old iphone and bought a new iPhone 13

I set it up from iCloud Backup, but a lot of my apps are missing. Can I select what gets transferred from the backup yo my new phone.

I've tried a factory reset and start the switching process again but I'm stuck. I have internet access , and all photos and docs are there. I had to set up email manually, but it's OK, but a lot of my apps are missing - whatsapp is probably the biggest problem, but allso my online banking, gym details etc

Can anyone help?

Have a look at this support document from Apple.

Just note it wont restore logins or any data that wasnt backed up to icloud.

If you open the apple App Store on you new phone and click on your profile picture in the top right then click on purchased, then click on My Purchases, it will show two tabs “all” and “not on this iPhone”, click on not on this iPhone and it will show a list of all the apps you had previously and can click to download then individually
