topic New phone is faulty in Apple

Hi, I just got a new iPhone 14 on contract, as soon as I bought the phone, it has been encapsulated in a water & showproof case. I have never dropped the phone or gotten it wet, but today after starting work, I unlocked the phone and the screen/ backlight completely went out. I can't see anything when looking at the phone, but can hear it when I plug it in or feel it vibrate if I turn in on or off mute.

How can we resolve this as this is brand new and only a few weeks old.
